Young dogs are placed with different handlers mostly based on their range. Medium to close working dogs are placed with Tony Bingham of Shelby, North Carolina. Tony has won the U.S. Complete Shooting Dog Association’s Top Handler of the Year award in three of the last five years. He has also won the U.S. Complete National Championship as well as numerous regional championships. In 2005, the U.S. Complete Association voted Tony as its “Man of the Year” for his good sportsmanship and unselfish attitude in helping both amateur and professional competitors alike.

Colvin Davis
of Minter, Alabama. Colvin competes in the all-age horseback circuit. He has won most of the major championships in the United States and on the prairies of Canada including the National Championship at Grand Junction, the National Free-for-All, the Dominion, the Saskatchewan, and the Manitoba championships. In addition, Colvin has won the All-Age Handler of the Year Award several times and the Purina Top Dog Award with three different dogs.
