| "During the initial 34 years of running of the Manitoba Championship, three pointer females won the title: Mary Montrose (1919), Becky Broomhill (1921 and 1924), and Mary Blue (1929). For this year's revival of the Manitoba Championship, a pointer female climbed to the top of the field of 36 competitors to claim the championship title.
